LoL 26.22 Patch Notes: Mel Refreshed, Yasuo Weakened
At 26.22 patch, Mel stabilizes from the start, Yasuo, Locke, and Thresh weaken. TFT switches to the standalone PC client.
League of Legends 26.22 patch notes have been released. The biggest title of this patch is the renewal of Mel. In addition, some champions are getting stronger, some are getting weaker, and there is a significant change on the client side for TFT.
Mel refreshed
- Base attributes and some abilities have been rebalanced.
- W (Rejection):Now, instead of reflecting back the attacks it blocks, it destroys opponents' shots and shields with its field effect and responds to opponents.
- Q:The cost of mana has decreased.
- Revision:High levels of cooldown have been shortened.
Empowered
- Corki:R damage increased.
- Kayle:Q and R waiting times decreased.
- Rumble:Ultini's ability power rating has risen.
- Aurelion Sol:E damage increased.
- Naafiri:Heal and additional attack power values increased.
- Maokai, Shen, Smolder, Viktor, and Zaahen also received improvements in their various abilities.
Attenuated
- Yasuo:The total attack power ratio of ability Q decreased from 105% to 100%.
- LOCKEQ damage decreased, W time shortened.
- Thresh:Base attack power and ulti's damage has dropped.
Item and mode changes
- Doran's Bow:Attack power down from 8 to 7.
- Battle Master's Armor:Attack power increased, balance change was made in its passive effect.
- ARAM: Noisy:Some add-ons have reduced damage, add-ons for survival have been strengthened.
- Butcher Bridge and Koeshin Pass maps are returning to rotation.
- The final challenges of the Road to Fame event are unlocking.
- In Classic mode, older versions of Volibear, Swain, and Elise are added to the playable roster.
Switching to TFT standalone client
Teamfight Tactics is moving to a separate PC client as of November 4, 2026. So the download size of this patch will be larger than normal. The option to switch between the two games is preserved, and the separation of cosmetic contents will be made in the future.
